Our Story
EverBright Scholars was founded by Dr. Brenton Simon, a PhD in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering and an expert at solving complex problems through cross-disciplinary research. He worked with organizations like DARPA and the Office of Naval Research, and later helped bring innovative technologies to market at Silicon Valley start-ups. Throughout his career, his focus has been on transforming complex ideas into practical solutions that make a difference in people’s lives.

When his own children entered school, Dr. Simon saw first-hand the challenges of a one-size-fits-all education system. Drawing on his research mindset, he developed the BRIGHT Method™—a framework designed to augment traditional education and help students thrive. After seeing its impact, he founded EverBright Scholars to bring this approach to families across Cincinnati, blending rigorous research with a personal passion for helping every child succeed.
